I know I haven't updated To Thine Own Self Be True in a while, but I've been busy with my mid-term and I can't seem to get into the mood to write the next chapters, which are interlaced and deals with what triggers the Prologue. BUT! Every season  the group FanficAholics Anon ~ Where Obsession Never Sleeps organizes the FicAwesome Gift Exchange. This event gathers different fandoms authors to write stories for others based on prompts. It was a wonderful experience for me to particiapte this year and my FAGE receipient, Lia Jane, is an awesome lady that has done so much for the Twilight Fandom.

HIATUS

Dear fandom,

I am appalled by the actions some of you are taking. My account was suspended because it was reported for fraud and I don’t know who did it. I didn’t point any fingers to anyone, yet you all decided to blame a group of ladies and attack them. That makes me sick. Please STOP ALL OF THIS! If this is someone fault it should be mine, for this whole thing started when I got sick. I’m not a victim. I refuse to be a victim and I refuse you to use me as one.

The whole Fandom for Mina started way back in December when I found out I had ovarian cancer. The idea was to donate to the center that provided me with free treatments and medications. They don’t have online donation, I live in a 3rd world country. They have a mail in donation system. The ladies that created this comp did it from the heart and because they care. The idea was to send me the money and then I would directly go to SOLCA and donate in the name of the comp. Things got out of hand and someone expressed the concern this was not being done legally and I understood her point of view, reason why I asked the ladies in charge of the comp to change things and remove me from it completely.

I appreciate everyone who has donated so far, but I won’t be called a fraud anymore.

I’m removing myself completely from the fandom. I’m putting all my stories in hiatus. I thought of taking them down, but them decided not to. I have a few charity comps that I will be writing for, but that will be all from me. I’ve been hurt enough to last me a lifetime. I have my health to think of first. I will remember the good times and will try to keep in touch with the ones that have stood by my side, but that will be all.

I've got some news to share with y'all. This coming week I'll be focusing on my pieces for Fandom for Heroes and Fandom Against Juvenile Diabetes. Deadlines are approaching and I need to buckle up and finish them as quickly as possible.

L&S Chapter 8 is almost done, unfortunately TPG chapter 11 is still in the outline phase, I just can't seem to get into the mood for fluff with all the crap happening in RL, but hopefully things will start looking up in the upcoming weeks. In any case, here are the picteasers for the upcoming chapters of both stories.

Central Texas recently had many devastating wildfires their area. I have a lot of friends over there, so in order to help the families who suffered losses due to these fires a fundraiser has been set up by Ysar.

HELP MAL & LEO GET THEIR H.E.A.

A very talented fellow author is need of help. If you haven’t heard of Mostlyalurker, then I suggest you go search for her STAT and while you are at it, go help by donating what you can on her blog. I have contributed with the first chapter of a new short story, set after Breaking Dawn and based on the song "Someone Like You" by Adele. The preface will be donated to this cause and I will publish the rest in March.
