While I'm immersed on The Perfect Girl edits, I'm gonna be finishing up two stories and posting a new one.
No, I'm not crazy, just had a LOT of free time on my hands this past week, and since I'm only gonna take one subject the next semester, well... I need to keep myself busy somehow.
Swans & Lions was a fic I wrote a while ago, but never got to finish It was supposed to be donated in its entirety to Fandom for Children, but I got sick as was only able to donated the first two chapters. The story is told in three points of view, and I'm already on chapter six. It's going to be a while before I start posting, but I think there will be ten or twelve chapters total, plus an epilogue.
Those of you that didn't get to donate to the cause, check out the summary and banner made by SoapyMayhem below.
Summary: I just wanted to know why I didn't have a mom to call my own. Daddy never talked about her and Aunt Rosalie made faces whenever I brought her up. I just wanted know why she didn't want me. Discovering where my mom lived was the easy part. Discovering she never knew I was alive… not so much. Edward/Bella. OOC/All-Human.
The other story is my Jazzward fic, To Thine Own Self Be True. I have outlined the next four chapters, and I just finished one of them, but I won't post until I have written them all. The idea is to post a chapter a day until it's complete, this way you won't have to wait for updates.
Here is a little teaser in the mean time, it's un-betaed, so please forgive any mistakes.
Edward let out a slow sigh and looked up at the man standing in front of him. “Alice sent you.”
Demetri nodded and pursed his lips. “She seems to think that us meeting is a good idea, though I don’t really know why.”
Edward cocked his head to the side. “You don’t know?”
The young man shrugged. “Unless you are looking for a new advertisement team to represent your company, I don’t think we have nothing else to discuss.”
By the young man’s stance, Edward could see he knew exactly what he meant.
Demetri Yanoz looked like he was ready to punch Edward in the face at the slightest provocation. He looked defensive and also ready to strike.
Edward wondered why Alice had thought meeting Jasper’s new partner in business was a good idea.
Yes, Edward knew about Jasper’s success, he had been following closely his career, encouraging him silently and at the same time feeling proud with each new client that spoke highly of this new up-and-coming advertisement firm. It was something that made Edward feel connected to the man he loved and at the same time, filled him with pride and joy to see him pushing through, moving forward.
It gave him hope, hope he wasn’t sure he should have let rise, given the stance of the person standing in front of him in this moment.
Edward rubbed his mouth, lost for words. “Look, I have been meaning to call Jas-“
“Don’t you fucking dare!”
Startled by Demetri’s interruption, Edward looked up at him and took a step back when he saw his fist balled up at his sides.
“Let me explain—“
“Like he tried?”
Edward winced at the reminder of his actions all those months back and shame was quick to set a heavy weight on his chest.
And finally, another drabble fic, but this time for the Vampire Academy fandom.
Come Back to Me is a story I've had in mind for a few months, and there are already eleven chapters pre-written. This is gonna be my first angst story, and I hope I can pull it off. I do promise a HEA for my readers, but yeah... it's gonna be a very bumpy ride.
I leave you the cover-banner and the summary.
Summary: They fought to be together, overcame the highest of obstacles, and finally found their happily ever after. But in real life there are always more obstacles to overcome. One tragic event will put their love to the test on their road to forever.
