TPG Chapter 10 Teaser + News

Hello everyone!

It turns out that I need one more week. The one-shot I'm writing for The Fandom Gives is giving me a headache, it's no flowing like I thought it would. I need to submit it in four days and I need to find someone to beta it too, it's going to be a long week for me.

So yeah, the update is going to take one more week. But in the mean time, I want to share a chapter teaser and also address something a lot of people are concerned about.

Let's start with the teaser. Ready? Here we go [this is unbetaed, please forgive any mistakes]:

TPG Chapter 10 Picteaser

Hey everyone!

So, I messed up yesterday. I had just finished making the picteaser and I was on my way out to a friend's house for a night of movies and mojitos, so I scheduled this post to go live at 8pm yesterday. I came home very late last night and crashed. I woke up this morning, came to the blog and...there was no post..

OH MY GOD! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!?!?!

In a panic, I quickly logged in and checked the post, only to find that I'd messed up the date. It was scheduled for Jun 7th at 8pm all right, but on the year 2015! YIKES! This is the last time I try to schedule something from my phone! LOL

I'm so embarrassed right now...

ANYWAYS, here's the picteaser. Major revelations for the next chapter, which some of you had called out, and here's one of them...

 I'm gonna try and send Chapter 10 to my pre-reader ASAP, but with the deadline for The Fandom Gives so close, I think I'll need one more week before I post. I'll let you guys know tomorrow.

My Apologies + Piceaser

Hey everyone!

Yes, I'm alive. I want to apologize for being MIA the last couple of months. I've been juggling so much stuff that I barely had time to sit down and write. Chapter 9 was one of the chapters that were completely lost when my desktop died, so I had to rewrite the whole thing almost from scratch. I did have the original draft, so that was something. Still, there were stuff in the original one that I didn't like and decided to change them.

But that's not the reason why I haven't updated. The truth is that I have been so busy between studying for my TOEFL, making graphics for a fandom event that never happened (Fandom4UniTap), and making the winners banners for the Fanatic Fanfics Awards (121 of them, yikes!)  that I barely had time to breathe. Then, I find out FicTease is closing, and I lost what I had written of Chapter 9 due to a power outage. *sighs* April and May weren't kind to me at all.

The last thing that kept me away were the events in Chile.

Just over a month ago, Ana Fluttersby alerted us to the catastrophe occurring in Nicaragua—three huge earthquakes and hundreds of aftershocks left people camping in their backyards, sleeping inside with open doors, or looking for shelter elsewhere—and asked her fandom friends for help. Almost immediately, Mina Rivera shared her own family’s personal story of loss from the fires in Valparaiso, Chile.

A Personal Appeal...

Dear readers,

This is a personal appeal. We are trying to raise money for Nicaragua and Chile, both countries have been hit by massive earthquakes, aftershocks, and fire. If you help us spread the word around, donate a raffle item, sign up to write, beta or make a banner, or just like The Fandom Gives facebook page, it would be very much appreciated.

Also, if you can't write a full piece for the compilation, you can still donate your words in a different way. Ana Fluttersby, Born Onhalloween and I got together and wrote a story for the compilation named TREMBLE.

As you can see, the first two chapters are posted on ff, but the rest of the story will go into the compilation and YOU can help us give this story an ending. That's right! The Problems of a Non-English Speaker

I'm going through the Totally Oppressing English Fucking Lesson, or as we non-english speakers know as TOEFL. 

What the hell is that, you ask?

Basically, the TOEFL is a bunch of tiny quizzes that will drive you mad. Nah... just kidding. Actually, it is a test that is required for all spanish speakers to pass if they wish to study in the U.S. 

Because I'm applying for an abroad program, I have to take the online course, which has been kicking my butt for the past couple of weeks. The assignments are never ending and the tests are tiring. Most of all, it's fucking annoying. Why? Well, because I already did this test about six years ago, but because it apparently has an expiration date, I have to do it again. 

I'm so freaking tired...

Honestly, at this stage, I wish I could jump across the pond and take the Cambridge certification. If only England or Australia would offer the same program I'm applying to... *sighs*

Anyways, I just wanted to vent and explain the reason why I have been a total fail at everything with TPG. The Outfits and Picteasers pages have been updated, and tomorrow I'll post a picteaser and a small chapter teaser here for all of you.

I have five more days to finish this course, but I think I'm gonna finish it by the 8th, so I'll hopefully have another chapter out soon.

I really hope I finish by the 8th...
