I'm going to try and be short, but I just want to apologize to you, my lovely readers. I know it has been too long since my last update. Real life got in the way and I had to prioritize my studies. It has been hard to adjust back into writing. I didn't write as much as I would've liked these past months, just a few lines here and there, just getting into the right mood turned out to be difficult. I'm very sorry. I hope it won't happen again, but I can promise you all that I WILL finish this story. No matter how long it takes. Okay?

TPG Chapter 15 Pictesear + A Little Extra

Hey everybody!

What's up? I've had a relative great week, very busy, but good. Although this morning I woke up with an earache and a sore throat... Meh, it's probably just a cold, and since most of my family already had it, I was bound to catch it. #FML

In any case, I got a couple of PMs asking for a littler teaser and decided to give you guys a two for one special. So, here's the next chapter's picteaser and a little extra.

As they left the store with only a handful of bags, a few people mingling about on the sidewalk stopped to greet Edward. It was the first time Bella saw how laid back Edward took his position as a royal. He talked to everyone with such kindness and openness. He even agreed to have his picture taken with a group of giggling young girls from Brume. They couldn’t have been more than 14 or 15 years old. He talked to them with sincerity and confidence, wishing them a happy summer break and encouraging them in their studies. 

It was heartwarming to see. 

“They love you,” she said when Edward came back to stand beside her. 

“You really think so?” 

She nodded. 

“It’s my greatest hope that all my subjects should feel the crown is there to protect them and help provide for them. My grandfather had a rough time bringing the country back from the brink of bankruptcy after the war, and my father worked hard to maintain the economy afloat. I hope they know that I’m working just as hard to secure a future, not only for them, but for their children as well.” 

For the second time, Bella felt in awe at the amazing man standing next to her. She could see how much he cared about his subjects and how honored he felt to be their sovereign. Edward was a selfless ruler; assessing each decision by the impact it would have on the country and its people instead of worrying about how it would impact his reputation. She admired that in him, not sure she would ever be able to make hard decisions the way he did.

She shook her head and cupped his cheeks. “You’re amazing,” she whispered, her voice thick with reverence, and then kissed him on the lips. It was a chaste kiss, with enough pressure to communicate what she couldn’t with words, and when his hands squeezed her waist, she knew he understood. 

The sound of a camera clicking had her stepping back.

Chapter 16 is almost done and 17 has been finished for a while now actually. I just need to look them over before sending them to my pre-reader. But first, I must finish some banners for Fandom 4LLS and Fandom 4 Autism. Both compilations are still accepting donations! Go donate or help spread the word around.

News, Compilations and Promises

Hey everyone!

It's been a looong time, hasn't it? Well, let's just say it's been a very bumpy ride for me. Real life tends to act like a bitch and she definitely slapped me a few times since the last time I posted here.

In any case, I have good news for you, guys. I've been writing a few one-shots for different contests and charity compilations. I would like to take a minute to give a shout out to these charity compilations. Donations are still open, so just click on the banner to take you there. Writing my donations helped me tremendously in beating the crap out of the block I had with The Perfect Girl. I'd been battling with the chapter for so long, I even thought of just scrapping the whole thing and start from zero. Instead, I listened to my beta and simply started a new doc. Once I was able to get the scenes the way I wanted to, the chapter flowed better and I'm pretty content with how it turned out.

And yes, the next chapter is done. Both my beta and pre-reader have already seen it, but this is when I give you the bad news. I won't be posting the next update until I have at least 5 chapters ready. The reason for this is so I can get back to a regular posting schedule without having to rush through the chapter or make you guys wait a long time for it. The good news is that the others chapter are flowing and have most of them written. I just need to fine tune them before emailing them to the ladies with the red pens.

I hope you all understand, but if you want me to post the next chapter and then wait weeks for the next one, let me know! I promise to never abandon The Perfect Girl. That story is my baby and I WILL finish it. I swear.

What's Going On...

Hey everyone!

Sorry for being MIA, but the new semester is kicking my ass and I've been stressed out of my mind. I also made like 117 banners for the Twi Fic Fandom Awards, but that was something I had been working on for around 3 months, so it wasn't that much of a burden.

What's ruining pretty much everything for me right now is that I've been notified that as of January I'll be jobless. This worries me because I still have thousands of dollars in debt from medical bills. This past month, I've  barely had time to get home, eat dinner and then crash at the end of the day between my classes, trying to get extra hours and looking for another part-time job. So yeah...

The good news is that I've been writing. I HAVE, I SWEAR! I got a bit blocked on the next chapter, so I left it alone and started working on the next one (gotta love my OCD self for outlining everything before I even considered posting).

What does this mean? Well, it means that I'll probably do a double update once i'm done with the chapters, it all depends if I manage to finish both chapters and the next one after that. I want to stay at least one chapter ahead, so you guys won't have to wait so long. Does that make sense?

Thanks for the lovely reviews and PMs. I'll try to keep you all posted on my progress, but an update this month...it's just not gonna happen. Hope you guys understand and don't hate me for it. SORRY! Feel free to PM me with questions, I don't mind them.

TPG Chapter 16 Teaser

Hey everyone,

My entire body hurts. I was so tired yesterday, and today I had class AND work. On a freaking Saturday! Can you believe that shit?

Anyway, I woke up after a nap with a clogged nose, sore throat and puffy eyes. I feel like shit, and I just want to go to bed again. If I finish the chapter this week, you'll get another teaser on Wednesday, and if I drown in my own mucus, I leave my fandom possessions to my beta and pre-reader.

To be honest, I'm not sure when chapter 15 will be ready at this point. I'm a bit blocked, the dialogue isn't flowing like I want, and I've re-written a scene five times already. I need a break from this chapter before I scrap it all. But here's a small teaser as promised. This is from Chapter 16, which I've been focusing on as I try to get rid of the block I have on 15. Hope you guys like it, and remember this is unbetaed and is subjected to change.

This was unlike any other kiss Bella had ever experienced. It was so full of need and passion. It took everything she had not to drag him to her bedroom and beg him to make her his. But it was too soon, and she didn't want to push things too far. 

Edward sensed her tension, and slowed down the kiss. He cupped her jaw with one hand, lips briefly parting, and then he kissed her again with gentle pecks until she pushed him away. 

“I’m sorry,” Bella said in a rush, cupping her flaming cheek. “I’m just not ready.” 

Edward shook his head and kissed her forehead. “We have all the time in the world, mia bella. So please, don’t feel embarrassed. I understand.” 

“I just don’t want you think badly of me.” 

Edward frowned. “Why would I? It was obvious you were uncomfortable, and I would never dare to push your limits. I’m not that kind of man.” 

“I know, it’ just that…” She bit her lip and looked down, only for her wide eyes to quickly snap up to his face. 

It was then that Edward realized what it was all about. 

She had felt his…excitement, for lack of a better word, during their kiss. 

Edward bit down his lip and shrugged. “I can’t help my physical reactions. You’re a beautiful woman, and I’m just man.” 

“You’re a bit more than a man.” 

Edward let out a bark of a laugh at her innocent comment. 

Bella turned red when she realized how her words could have been interpreted. “I didn’t mean it like that!” 

Ruh-roh! Bella, you naughty girl! Hope you guys liked that little insight on these two's week-long date.

TPG Chapter 14 Picteaser

Hey everyone.

I've been trying to upload on fanfiction.net for a while now, but I haven't succeded. Maybe it's because it's a new story or I don't know. I've been trying to upload the first two chapters of the story I donated to the Disaster Relief Compilation, but no luck.

Hopefully, by the time I get chapter 14 back from my beta the issue will be resolved and I'll be able to upload on Sunday *crosses fingers and knocks on wood*

Chapter 15 is almost done too. I've been busy with the TwiFic Fandom Awards, but I'm back on track and my pre-reader should have the chapter by Saturday/Sunday.

In any case, here's the picteaser, a long with a tiny teaser below.

His cell phone suddenly pinged, popping the bubble they had been in. He picked up his jacket and took the device out of the inner pocket. He tapped the screen and then let out a long sigh. “I need to go.” 

“Oh,” Bella said, a little disappointed. “Did something happen?” 

Edward cleared his throat. “Not really, but it’s getting late and…” He frowned and shook his head. “I’m sorry, but you need to know this.” 

Bella placed her hand on his shoulder. “What’s going on?” 

“Jane spotted a couple of paparazzi outside, and if I stay any longer, more will show up. Because of the law here they cannot approach me, but there is nothing I can do to stop them from taking photos.”

TPG Chapter 14 Teaser + News

Hey everyone,

After a couple of weeks from hell where it seems I fought with everyone (my university, my teachers, my friends) and everything (blogger, laptop, photoshop) and even my own mother, I'm finally back on track.

It's been insane here, and then to make matters worse, my mom had to be hospitalized this week. She's better now, but scared the crap out me!

Now that's all over, I'm glad to announce that Chapter 14 is with my pre-reader. This is her second round. She usually suggests a few re-writes, but there were one particular event in this chapter we saw differently and we finally reached a compromise. I'm waiting for her to send back the chapter so my beta can have a look at it and then I'll post it.

In the meantime, here's a little teaser...

Can I Get A Hallelujah?

Hey everyone!

No, I haven't turned into one of those religious people that yell "Praise the Lord!" every time something great happens. Although there is nothing wrong with that (I was raised as roman-catholic after all), but if you have read the dark fic I wrote for the Beyond the Pale contest (thanks Fanfiction.net for pulling it, btw) you know I'm in no way tuning to religion any time soon.

So, the real reason I'm screaming "HALLELUJAH!" is because... *drum roll* TPG Chapter 13 is DONE!

I'm sending it to my pre-reader right now, and then it will be in the hands of my beta. Hopefully, you guys will be able to read the chapter next Sunday. Just keep in mind my pre-reader lives in a different timezone, and well... I think she's probably asleep right now, so it will take a couple of days. BUT like I promised, I'll post it as soon as I have it in my hands all pretty and free of errors.

Anyway, I had a wonderful birthday and the chapter is almost done. Hye everyone!

First of all, big apologies for not updating. I've been promoted at work and my new boss is draining me of my life force every single day! Well, actually, that's a bit too dramatic, I've just barely gotten time to even think lately and being blocked doesn't help. In simple words, I've been exhausted beyond belief.

I want the chapter to be perfect, and there is one scene that I've title "The Balcony Scene" that's giving me a headache. Edward is refusing to give me all the details and Bella is way too shy to spill. *sighs* I love the fuck out of these two, but they are seriously getting on my nerves! UGH!

Anyway, since my birthday is on Sunday I decided to post a mini-teaser today and give you guys a picteaser on Sunday. Sounds nice? I promise to update as soon as the chapter is done! *crosses heart*
